I believe the previous behavior was correct, as leading or trailing whitespace,
makes an email invalid.
This change caused a number of invalid emails in our database, as we didn't
trimmed email address in the server side. Shouldn't be there an attribute for
accepting or rejecting trailing/leading whitespaces?
