Gerhard Petracek updated EXTVAL-129:
------------------------------------
Resolution: Won't Fix
Assignee: Rudy De Busscher
Status: Resolved (was: Patch Available)
since it's a bug of old primefaces versions, we don't have to fix it. if needed
it's possible to use
http://code.google.com/a/apache-extras.org/p/myfaces-extval-addons/source/browse/#hg%2Fcomponent-support%2FPrimeFacesR1
as workaround for old versions

> Using partial rendering features of primefaces (at least in the 2.1 version)
> doesn't work when used with ExtVal. Primefaces casts renderers to
> PartialRenderer but this doesn't work with the ExtVal Renderer Wrappers.
> Solution here is to implement a GenericRenderKitWrapperFactory that produces
> wrappers that implement PartialRenderer.
