[TRINIDAD] - Fixing TRINIDAD-2177

I want to try and write a patch for TRINIDAD-2177 but I'm not sure where I
should be looking.. if someone could point me in the right direction of
what I should be looking at I'm sure I'll be able to figure out the rest of
it.
