thank you for your opinions.

One argument is, that Tobago 3.0 is different to Tobago 2.0. You'll need
to make a migration. It's not only change the version number in the pom.
And when you migrate, you may also change the app server, or Java version.

I expect for the first, that new applications will be developed with
Tobago 3.0 and migration might be done later. For new applications Java
8 might be adequate.


Do you think, these are sufficient arguments for Java 8?
