--------------------------------------------------------------

Hi while I am writing the test I noticed several things.

a) We do not have the mockito facilities in which would allow mockStatic (aka
mockito-inline)

b) The version of mockito we use coming from the parent pom is really old, this
needs an update!

I would suggest at least for the 4.x branch onwards to update and include this
stuff. Our tests often are very old and build their own mocks. At least for
newer tests we should have a more modern infrastructure in place.

Shall I open an issue for this? We probably need to upgrade the parent pom!

But also which branches are we going to upgrade with the mockito dependencies?

Static mocks are vital to get proper unit tests in on utils classes!

> When I want my functions to go into a predefined JS namespace (object) then
> it places the function in the global JS namespace with a name of the
> [namespace][escape sequence for the dot][name of the function]
> With Mojarra this is working.

> The functions go into the global namespace with MyFaces.

> I hope that MyFaces will also support the placing in namespaces.
> Because we are using Open Liberty server side.
> The example with the namespace is from the book :
