100% - and not all incubating projects get that right. :-) There's some old
documentation around that say put t at people@.

Looks good perhaps put the convienance binaries in their own directory?

I’d also normally add a REAME me as well and pul the LICENSE and NOTICE but I
guess you have three of them? If they files are there you can link to them from
your website which is handy.

Do the LICENSE and NOTICE file reflect what’s contained in the artefacts? The
convenience binaries often will have very different LICENSE and NOTICE files as
they bindle different things.

Would you like me to give the various LICENSE and NOTICE files a once over
before you make an official RC?

And are we 100% sure that they don’t contain the LGPL code (source or compiled)
?

It’s good, but I add the git hash, tags can be deleted or changed. The idea is
that given a successful vote someone could take the info in the email and
produce the exact same release as you did. You may also offer some advice on
what is needed to be checked when voting.

It also customary to send out a [DISCUSS] email as well that was the vote
thread doesn’t get polluted by people replying with questions / any issues they
have found..

Thanks,
Justin
