Hi Nges, It’s great to hear of your interest in the the test utility project as well as the BLE profile development project !
As you probably already know, the process requires you to submit a proposal outlining the work you wish to do. A general proposal template is given here: http://community.apache.org/gsoc.html <http://community.apache.org/gsoc.html> Our project is going through a rapid documentation update over the next 2 weeks especially on the BLE piece. We will be adding the API for the services that an application user (profile creator) will be able to use. In the meantime you can read about the basic OS on the Mynewt Manual under Docs on the project website: mynewt.apache.org <http://mynewt.apache.org/>. You can also look at the project repo (link available on the site) and look at both the OS and BLE code to see what the various components are. This should give you some idea of the modules and packages that need test suites, and therefore help you write the proposal. Please check the website for documentation updates over the next few days. thanks, Aditi > On Mar 2, 2016, at 2:00 PM, Nges B <[email protected]> wrote: > > Ok thanks very much. > > On 3/2/16, Sterling Hughes <[email protected]> wrote: >> Hi Nges, >> >> Thanks for your interest.
