Dear Aditi,

Thanks for your reply.

To speed up the progress, instead of following the tutorial, can i use the bletiny example as a base for my project?

Is there any major different between bletiny and the tutorial?

Regards,

Then Yoong Ze

Hi Then,

Welcome to the Mynewt community!

You are right - our documentation needs to be updated. We are working on it
incrementally through the beta stage with the target goal of having a fully
updated set by the first major release (1.0.0). Thank you for pointing out the
discrepancies. Since it is all community-driven, do not hesitate to update the
documentation itself and generate a pull request against the develop branch of
documentation repo -https://github.com/apache/incubator-mynewt-site.

One of us will get back to you with the updated info at least via email. In the
meantime, it’s best if you subscribe to the mailing list - that way you will
receive messages covering design and implementation discussions that will keep
you abreast of the changes happening. The signup instructions are
herehttp://mynewt.apache.org/community/. Basically, just send an empty email
[email protected] and when you get an automated
response, reply to it (empty reply is fine) to confirm and complete
subscription.

thanks,
aditi
