My bad Yuliya. The hangout that was on the invite was associated with " mesosphere.io" account. And, as I no longer work at Mesosphere, I was not able to use that link to start the hangout.
Now, I have added a video call to the hangout calendar event itself. Hopefully from next time it will be fine. Also, we can do advanced notice/introductions from next time as well.
