Hi everyone! My name is Miguel, I am a frontend developer and I've been dedicated to data visualization for some time, in addition to user interfaces (UX). I'd like to contribute to your project, I think it's really interesting and I guess I could make useful contributions to the UI.
The UI is implemented with React, which is one of the most popular javascript frameworks as probably you know. We have a lot of potential for creating a dynamic UI and we can be as creative as we propose. First of all the dependencies that are managed with Node are quite deprecated. On the other hand, even if the interface is simple and its needs are not as great as other very dynamic applications, we can review and redesign the style and functionality, fix small bugs and finally maintain the web of the project (the other tasks that I can contribute) that makes it more usable. As an extra ball we can change even some element of the technological stack that no longer makes much sense such as the Flux component (library to manage and centralize the state of the views). I have seen some open ticket with which I could start contributing and if there is someone else interested, I will be happy to listen your proposals, getting help from you and discuss any topic.
