True! And I'm working hard to make it real in Hungary, too.
Basically I agree with you on the principles and the role of the NL projects but I think progress will be made on a different time scale than you (and me too) would like. It takes years to build a community.
If SourceCast was technically superior, then a change would be easier but still hard. I cannot give orders to other community members I can only ask or make suggestions. But I cannot even suggest them to move to SourceCast until it "sucks" as you said.
