Greetings guys and gals,

Whoo hoo! I'm getting good at this. The IRC logs for Alexandro's talk are now
posted.

http://native-lang.openoffice.org/conference/

The talk was yet another success, yay! :-)
We had 16 people, just like before. So this looks like the standard turn out
(not bad :). Notice, these are not the same 16 people. Each time it's a
different group. This is good, the idea was to have talks at different times so
that more people could make it. That seems to be happening.

On this talk we had a better turn out from the French NL team. I got to meet
some new people (yay!). Great meeting you.

In any event, good job Alexandro!

Now, comming next time, Simon is going to talk to us about software patents. As
you know, this is a very important issue for open source. Especially for OOo,
give Microsoft's recent attempts to seek XML patents. Simon has been following
the issue closely, and he has been quoted on Dutch newspapers about this. So be
sure to attend.

Simon's talk will be two weeks from today, on April 16. The tentative time is
15:00 UTC. But we'll see if Simon decides to change the time. I'll keep you
informed.

Cheers,
