Hi all,

First, thank you for your interests and discussions.

We have dicussed about N. Korean support in OOo, and there is no
solution yet.
I had some understanding why Sun had to cancel my patches.

I hope Sun developers and Legal Dept to answer my questions:

1. OOo is a open source project, so it is not bound by US laws, but Sun
and CollabNet are US companies, so developing OOo with Sun is bound by
US laws. Correct?

2. US export control laws target countries and their citizens, not
their languages. Is it correct?

3. There are used Lang IDs and Lang entries of other embargoed
countries in OOo. Is it language support or not?

4. Is N. Korean support in the official OOo project impossible?

5. Developing N. Korean support in OOo outside of Sun & US is possible
and legal. Correct?

In fact, N. Korean developers have developed and developing N. Korean
support in several OOo versions(1.0.X, 1.1.X, 1.9.X) by their own, and
there is not any problem except that it is somewhat trouble.
