HI all,
Our OpenOffice.org 2.0 release is approaching? :)
I don't know. You know? :)
not much more than you know.
Anyway the OpenOffice.org Japanese Native Language Project is now
preparing for QA for Localized Builds.

Will we do the same?

May we want to update OpenOffice.org Test, Shakedown Test Suite, for 2.0?

These are our questions.
Do you have any idea?
I'd suggest a mix of automated tests (to check, if files could be opened
/ saved, no crashes in basic functionality ...) and the TCM Test cases
(to have some manual testing).
Although TCM is focused on localization testing, it has some very
usefull advantages:
- I can track the stauts of older tests (no need to switch to issuezilla
for searching)
- I can track the status of current tests of other n/l teams ( I uses to
have a closer look of all the issues, other teams found)
- I can easily track what tests have been really done, when working with
a number of people.
Just my ideas,
André
