Hello,
I would strongly urge you to join the indlinux-group (please do not
let the name put you off, our first concern is FOSS localization)
mailing list, as we have been discussing starting an Urdu localization
project. As I am sure that you are aware, Urdu is also spoken widely
in India. The great thing about our discussion has been that it seems
that we are bringing together the open-source communities in the two
countries for the first time. In fact, I am taking the liberty of
cross-posting this to indlinux-group. It would also help if you
could identify what resources you have access to.

Regards,
Gora

P.S. You can subscribe to indlinux-group at the top of the page:

The archives are public, and you can reach them from a link
next to the one for the subscription.
