What about not taking care of what Debian thinks?

Personally I care about what Debian thinks, but you don't have to agree with me.

What about trying to resolve the issues so that the PDL clarifies as
DFSG free?
The points are minor and only a matter of interpretation.

They didn't seem minor to me. But that's besides the point. Modifying the PDL so that it becomes DFSG-free is a worthy goal and I hope that the Community Council tackles that issue (my term is up). I think it should try to make the PDL Debian-free, and personally it would significantly improve my thoughts on the PDL.

Cheers,
Daniel.
