Oups, I get lost ! Why is there a RC3 if we are currently testing a
RC2, is RC3 meaning final ? or should we cancel RC2 tests and go with
RC3 tests ?
*sigh* unfortunately the situation must be confusing. Yes, we would have
an RC3 (what hopefully will become final).
Just yesterday it became obvious, the issue 55330 was underestimated and
got higher priority (we didn't read our own file format correctly).
Therefore this one has been escalated to stop the release.
As the mailinglists have been more or less down at this moment,
communication was far from beeing perfect :-(
Ok .. so Release Engineering is working hard to prepare and build the
RC3, which should be available bevore the weekend. RC3 needs testing
again. But there are few differences between RC2 and RC3.
Ok, as Hirano already wrote ... take a break (I'd add have a Glass of
beer / wine / tea or whateverh you like) and prepare for RC3 testing.
