We [bn.openoffice.org] were working for Bengali in OpenOffice.org.
Bengali locales [bn-BD and bn-IN] are already included in OOo 2.0. Some
localizations are done too. Pavel Janik has already built Bengali
version of OOo which is available at,
http://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/680/RC3/
My question is, Bengali is not listed in the official download page [ie,
select your language]. What should be done from our side?
Btw, We have already started QA of the Bengali builds.
