Hi to all, After talking with Branko Tanovic, current project leader of OO.org Serbian translation, we agreed to transfer project leadership to me for reasons of lack of time on his side - and for that matter he told me short introduction on this list is appropriate. We share same views on the need to have good and persistent OO.org Serbian translations, but as I understood he has little time to actively continue doing work in leadership role now, and I hope he will be actively in.
Let me try to make very short introduction of myself regarding OO.org. I've been using FOSS as user and developer for more than ten years now. As for OO.org, I was using it since Sun introduction, and even before with Star Office under OS/2. Currently, I am working as IT consultant in several companies, and my work is primary in the areas around Linux OS. Branko and I have discussed and agreed that, with a lot of work it should be possible to gather critical mass of users, developers, translators and what I believe is very important - funding from all stakeholders of Serbian OO.org project to make complete Serbian translation and make translation following evolutions of a product. Project so far went in right direction and we have Serbian translation, but lot of work is ahead.
