+1. I think in general we have to lower the bar for regular contributions and include more bulletin-board like processes. Wiki offers that. I can think of several areas where it can come in handy, where it is better than a mail list or the Document/files section, and easier than CVS. For instance, managing in QA/l10n the status of a language's QA; or notifying, for marketing, events and who will be in attendance; or for drafting documentation.


I also agree and plan to use in the extensions project context for translation. Some pages will be written in english and translations wille be pointed to the wiki so that NL can translate the information.
