Hello to all, > As it was explained earlier, LIP are similar to our language packs. > However, I don't see why this LIP or even a fully-localized MS Office in > Maori should stop you. OOo exists by its own merits... :-)
Talking about MS LIP's, does anybody know is there any legal or any other constraints for using translations in ie. Office LIP's to translate strings/terms in OOo? For example in Serbia, they did invest a lot in translation of MS Office and Windows, and thus setting de facto standard for glossary of computer related terms, especially for people new to computers and not speaking English - same people who will use Serbian OOo. I know this sounds stupid ;) as translations should not be anybody's property, but now days you never know who can complain about some IP violations? :( cheers, Tomislav --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
