Hello Dimitri,
Welcome to OpenOffice Native-Lang. Getting OOo released in Sinhala is easy if following issues have been resolved. 1) Support for Sinhala unicode input . 2) Support for rendering of Sinhala Characters on Linux and other operating systems. Please check on this and once the above have been ensured, it is just a matter of translating the openoffice strings and other language related stuff like locale data etc to Sinhala. But please note that openoffice translation is a mammoth task of translating about 70000 strings. There are advanced translation tools like poedit and other scripts which make life of the translator a bit easy. Once translations are done, it is a matter of merging it back in source and releasing a build which any of us at OOo community can do it for you if you lack technical resources(though we would advise you do it urself). Please let us know when you would like to start.
