+ + + DETAILS + + + Primary aims: 1. To invite some affiliates and people surfing their sites to OpenOffice.org 2. To encourage to supporting OpenOffice.org and visiting NLC-pages 3. To create a community of web site owners and initiate some interaction 4. To uncover some XML possibilities Database and language: XML/XSL Summary: The project will be divided into two: Webring (which is a ring of sites on openoffice.org subject matter, comp. www.linuxwebring.org Practically: a text link and a note. Friends - a loose gathering of all other www's and their owners, practically a text link to those, who put OpenOffice.org icon on their site. Rules: To join a web-ring the site must not breach the netiquette, the owner has to put at least one banner (leading to www.openoffice.org) and eventually a second banner (leading to webring) in a visible place on the home page. The owner has to have an account in OpenOffice.org and provide the full name of the site to be placed in the web-ring as a link, for example "Mary's Used Cars". One is browsing the sites in the webring at his own risk. No graphical links so as not to overload the server. Duties: Webring project maintainters have to occassionally check the sites if they don't breach the rules and create native language versions.
