Some good news from the Bangla localisation team. Am I correct in
thinking that once the Bangla team have finished their localisation, we
will have OOo support for all the 'top ten' languages?

Subject: [Marketing] OOo Localization Boot Camp at UIU in Bangladesh
Date: Sun, 27 Aug 2006 14:54:05 +0100 (BST)

Hello,

Yesterday we organized the 3rd Boot Camp on OpenOffice.org's Bangla
Localization at United International University (http://www.uiu.ac.bd/), Dhaka.
The camping started at 9:00 AM and ended at 5:00 PM. There were 30 participants
including the organizers. Most of them are students of different universities.
In the camp we translated around 3000+ strings. Hopefully we will continue
organizing boot camps on localization at different universities.

The camp was organized jointly by Ankur and BdOSN (Bangladesh Open Source
Network). The university gave us their permission to access their lab and also
sponsored a good lunch! :)

Regards
mak
