Hello all, as discussed at the NLC meeting of Lyon, it is time for the Native-Lang projects to have a consistent documentation. Ideally, we should translate from the existing set of documentation available in the documentation project, and cooperation should also go the other direction (this is something some actually do, but not all). Yet for many good and bad reasons, the state of documentation inside the NLC is chaotic. You will find the best just like worse (or the complete void, for that matter), and there is the lingering question about the need to localize, not to translate a documentation; for instance, some documentation sets may not be appealing at all to some cultures, so something else has to be invented.
In this regard, we discussed several options including: - Matching our docs against the official OOo documentation set (the ideal, platonic goal of ours) - Defining a minimum subset of translated docs from the documentation project - Coming up with a mix from the Documentation project and external sources: many native-lang projects have their own sources that are not known outside them. Of course, the result we shall achieve shall respect our licensing scheme (PDL or CC for fixed content materials). The exciting part of the action will take place on the wiki.
