The specific rules you have to follow, are those which are on the licence of the version of Windows that you installed, _and_ any subsequent patches from Microsoft that you installed.
Microsoft has a nasty habit of claiming intellectual property rights to content that they have no moral right to do so, but have the legal right because the content creator/user has granted Microsoft those rights.
