Hello everyone,
some of you already may have heard about the DE project's so-called
CampOpenOffice.org, which has been held in 2006, and will be held again
in 2007. I have posted a summary last September, which you can read at

In the "Camp", community members meet youths and pupils who are
interested in the program and the community beyond it. In several
tracks, we will give them information about what we do, why we do it,
and about how the project works.
The feedback we received last year was great, and some participants even
contributed in the Camp, so we decided we will have a Camp this year as
well. I write to you - after Louis suggested that ;-) - to tell you
about the idea of the Camp. I think it is a real great opportunity of
meeting community members and interested partys. Of course, it is some
work, but it makes a lot of fun!
You give them your knowledge and enthusiasm, and they give you attention
- and they are potential community members as well! So, think about it!
I would be happy if some of you like the idea, and I will answer all of
your questions. :-)
