Hello, I'd like to ask for the Norwegian project to move up to a level
2 project. It's about time, I realize when I review the criteria on
the wiki:

> Mandatory roles:
> - Localizing OpenOffice.org
> - Providing Quality Assurance for the localized build
> - Registering the localized build(s) in the QA Track

All done and regularly kept up-to-date.

> Necessary, Additional roles (applicable for level 2 Native-Language projects):
> - Users support in the native-language / community building
> - Writing or translating documentation (wiki section here and project pages
> here)
> - Promoting OpenOffice.org locally
> - Establishing a local NGO (non profit, legal entity acting as your
> representation locally)

Four out of seven roles fulfilled, if not more.

What kept us from asking for level 2 status before, was that we didn't
put much effort into organized support. This has changed, particularly
with the user forum we established this year. Add to that extensive
and freely available documentation, plus the annual Norwegian
conference held by our NGO, and I feel that we are very well covered
on the support front.

Regards,
 Gaute Hvoslef Kvalnes
 Norwegian Native-language lead
