If everyone agrees to this structure change, I can start working with each NLC group to move existing pages to the new structure.

It's OK. I can assist your working as to Japanese pages.

BTW, I wonder what we should actually do for this structure change.
Unfortunately, our pages were not created under the sole convention. We have
some pages which have non English title. Most Japanese pages are under
Ja.openoffice.org/ directory, but some pages are under the root directory and
others are under JA/ directory which was newly created just after your
proposal.

At the same time most (or I hope it's all) of them are grouped under the
following category;
http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Category:Japanese_Native_Language_Project
I hope this category helps us shift the existing Japanese pages to the new
structure.

The current location of the JA pages does not matter so much... as long as we can find them. If most of the JA pages are grouped under a single Category then it is really easy to move them. I can tell the WikiBot to look at the Category, and then move all pages to a new location/structure.

So, lets start with that. I will pass the WikiBot over the pages on Friday based on the Category you named above with instructions for it to move all pages it finds to http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/JA/$PAGENAME This will keep the existing structure and relationship of pages but group them all under the JA sub-page.

Any individual pages that are missed (that are not a part of the base Category) can be moved on a case by case basis, or if there are many pages, we can make a list and the WikiBot can move the pages based on a list in a text file.
