Wahaj,
"ps" will then be the official name of the project. Please don't send
the SCA to me but to Sun as explained in the document...
I will file an issue for the creation of the project and keep you
posted (beware, it may take some time to get you set up).
Regards,,
Charles.

Dear Charles,
Thanks a lot for your good wishes. For sure I will provide you the
mentioned info:
1. OpenOffice.org username = wahaj
2. Exact ISO code for Pashto is = ps
Note: Often of Pashto language speakers are from Afghanistan,
because it writes as usual "ps-af ", but generally it is "ps".
because we have
many peoples from Pakistan that they speack Pashto.
3. Okay, for the time being I confirm level one project
registeration "localization only".
4. I am on a journey now, while I reach back to Berlin, I will sign
the SCA and will send you as well.
kind regards,
wahaj

Subject: Re: proposal
Dear Wahaj,
Thank you very much for your proposal. It is of course with some
emotion that I welcome you and your language inside the Native-
Language Confederation. Every language is precious and worth
helping; yet some carry an additional symbolic value more than
others at some specific periods of time. What I need from you is
the following points:
- your OpenOffice.org username
- the exact ISO code of your language: I see ps-af, but is ps-af
different as a language than other Pashto languages? We tend to
reason on a language basis more than on a country-specific one.
- I also need you to sign and send/fax the SCA, which is the
contributor's agreement for OOo: http://www.openoffice.org/licenses/sca.pdf
Last I also need you to confirm that you wish to register a level
one project (localization only, but you can make it evolve over
time).
+1 for the Pashto Native-Language Project!
Best,
Charles-H. Schulz.

have selected my final project of open office localization. and I
am writing my Master Theses on the project so I wish to start work
on my project as soon as possible. If I perform my job successfully
I will hunt two birds on one single stone: From one side I will
serve my native language and from the other side often peoples use
commercial softwarein Afghanistan illegally so our society will
become fimiliar with open source as well and will start using open
source.

language Pashto (ps-af) is not good served as style, so I would
like to serve my native language Pashto and localize software as
many as possible. On the other hand very less amount of peoples can
speack Englsih so it seems more necessary to start.

> For the time being, I am alone to start then I will motivate
others as well to join me and I will be back to Afghanistan in
March 2009, and will start my job, so I am able to motivate
students to do cooperation and to assign them as a final project.
