My apologies for taking a while to get the PR into place. Unfortunately my main workstation Mac is one of the 2015 models affected by the battery issues and it has been sent to Apple for repairs...so I'm running on a backup machine. I have to try and get everything into place to republish the webapp-javaee8 archetype to Maven Central. Once I have everything configured correctly then I will push. The PR will depend upon the updated maven archetype.
