Assuming we treat an LTS as an LTS, and assuming that we start by making Java editing support using nb-javac on JDK 8 a legacy / opt-in feature for 12.1-13.0, that would mean full support for nb-javac until May 2021, and legacy support until May 2022. Doesn't aiming to drop needing to support nb-javac delivery by mid-2022 seem reasonable?
