Hi Brad,
I think Oracle's goal is to try to donate as much as possible. As far as
I know each donation goes through a thorough analysis phase and the
whole donation takes quite some time.
If Oracle has decided not do donate this specific module I think we may
rest sure there are sound reasons not to.
Since we already have an LSP backed solution in the cpplite branch, I
think we may want to accept the binary dependency, and then try to
rebuilt the module if we think it's important.
I'll try to take a deeper look at what this module does and why, and
then I'll post here my findings for further discussion.
