Dear all,
As we've said that 12.0 is an LTS, lets keep our word and create a
second update release for that. I volunteer for the duty of Release Manager.
Please take a few minutes to look at the changes delivered in 12.1 and 12.2

Please mark all small, non-api, changes that you think worth to backport
to 12.0, with "Cherry Pick" label .
Unreleased (marked for 12.3), trivial changes (like patching an NPE)
could be marked as well.
Timeline (a tight one):
2nd - 8th of January: Mark the issues.
2nd - 9th of January: Create PR-s of 12.0-u2 (that would be mainly me,
in some non trivial cases, if there would be any, I'll ask some members
to help with that)
10th of January. Create a patch release. Start the vote on that.
13th of January. Close the vote.
13th+ Make the update public.
This would be an update release: the only binary I'm thinking of are the
updated nbm-s. If there would be any demand we could do an updated MacOS
binary as well, due to the Big Sur launcher issue. Though I would not
include the wait with the announcement for that binary signed. It would
be an eventful January anyway.
