It seems Gradle 7.3 is finally out. I'm going to create a PR soon.

RC3 was to be tomorrow. We're trying to get back into weekly release
candidates, and I've always tried to do Wed, out of habit more than
anything else!
However, we're waiting on whether Gradle 7.3 gets a full release this
week and if Laszlo can integrate.
We haven't discussed the voting schedule yet, but I'd like to see RC3
have at least a week in use to ensure there are no critical issues.
That's all in schedule still. Assuming all is well, the voting
candidate will then be built from the same git commit as RC3. So,
anything that needs to squeak in, needs to squeak in now! ;-)
