Got it now and and I was told:
$ netbeans
Cannot find java. Please use the --jdkhome switch.
Looking in the snaps netbeans.conf I see
netbeans_jdkhome="${SNAP}/jdk"
but the jdk dir is empty.
I know how to override that but I guess something is wrong.
