Known issue? Fixed in 14?
- fresh userdir/cachdir, NB-13
- NewProject > JavaWithAnt > JavaApplication
- Tools > Create/Update Tests
- Test File Ctrl+F6
observe:
/home/err/.nb/13-play/cachedir/executor-snippets/junit.xml:184:
The following error occurred while executing this line:
/home/err/.nb/13-play/cachedir/executor-snippets/junit.xml:128:
The <classpath> or <modulepath> for <junit> must include
junit.jar if not in Ant's own classpath
BUILD FAILED (total time: 0 seconds)

The testfile is junit 5 imports/template, which is what I'm looking to use. I want to do some parameterized tests, and they're a part of junit 5.

There's
    $ ls NetBeans-13/netbeans/extide/ant/lib/ant-junit*
    NetBeans-13/netbeans/extide/ant/lib/ant-junit4.jar
    NetBeans-13/netbeans/extide/ant/lib/ant-junit.jar
but I don't think that's what it's complaining about.

I've seen various things online, and there was mention of it in user's list, about major differences going to junit-5; a different runner.

- Can this be locally fixed? And with the test results window working?

Ifso, any guidance/hints/suggestions appreciated.

https://netbeans.apache.org/kb/docs/java/junit-intro.html mention JUnit 3 and JUnit 4.

If not, might be better to take it out and default to JUnit 4 rather than a giving a poor experience and false hope.
