- checked signatures and checksums
- checked LICENSE and NOTICE files
- build from source with JDK 8 with distribution JDK and AdoptOpenJDK 8
- code in source zip matches code in repository (directory cmdline)
- did a minimal test (list hints, scanned a tree for a single hint)
Slight problem for the future: Building only succeeds only on JDK 8 but
fails on JDK 11.
If anyone has the feeling, that the text looks like my reply to VC2,
yes, I verified the the findings for VC2 on VC3.
