I should have mentioned that this mail was meant for NetBeans 15, i checked if a last minute update during RC phase would make sense.

NetBeans 16 would align with the JDK 19 release. So, yes refreshing master with nb-javac based on 19ea would be good - it doesn't have to be now, but we have to do that anyway so why not.

for those who want to experiment with unreleased JDK features, uninstalling nb-javac and running on an ea build might be an option (but this is always untested territory).

they don't sound particularly interesting for NetBeans. So I don't think
