I recently tried out the Codeium plugin in VSCode and was very impressed. See https://codeium.com/ - it's an AI assistant similar to those offered by GitHub Copilot and TabNine. But I miss it in my favourite IDE. I'm not familiar enough with NetBeans internals to try to integrate it myself, but I wonder if someone on this list might take on the challenge? I know from messages on their discord server that they have open-sourced a plugin for emacs or something like that, so I believe there is a public API available and reference code.
