A draft PR, including dev build, using the staged artefacts is at https://github.com/apache/netbeans/pull/8122 #8112 effectively moves the deprecated JVM flag from the windows launcher into the netbeans config, the resulting dev build remains compatible on JDKs between 17 and 23. For JDK 24 compatibility of NetBeans itself, followup PRs will be needed (draft: #7928).
