I've been thinking about this since yesterday, and for a variety of
reasons that I'm not going into all of right now, I'm taking option 1
as stated off the table.
Which leaves dropping Windows installers completely for NB 25, which I
don't think is desirable at all.
option 2:
- release everything again for one more release
Personally I think at this late stage we should do option 2, with the
community installers remaining as the alternative option.
I am not going to block this but will refrain from any windows specific
testing during vote etc. If the time of one more cycle helps to resolve
the installer question - all good - better late than never :).
NBI is since

I think that's a desirable and feasible aim for NB 26, assuming
progress on installer alternatives outside of ASF continues to be made
in time to replace them.
I think installers from somewhere are a must have!
