Follow-up diagnosis found that an interior jar had gone missing from within a fat jar. Incidentally we attempted to have a beta update 4.0.36b and received warnings from both Maven Central Repository and NetBeans, but it all seemed to work. Nevertheless we did not ask to deploy it, not wanting to provoke further possible problems with end users. Corrected plugin 4.0.37 is released and tested satisfactorily in NetBeans 25 (and 24 and 23). Review (and hopefully deployment) will be welcome. We will try to duplicate in order to fix, and also consider whether additional top-level exception handling is possible. Looking ahead: I believe that submitting any change in Maven Central requires bumping up the version number.
