I set those repos up - I still get email notifications on all changes. That you consider the ASF release processes to be silly is part of the problem here. An installer was built by linking against the staging location on dist.a.o (in itself a problem!) and then published. That these were published inadvertently, in fact that it even could be done inadvertently, is why I made my points earlier in this thread. As of this morning, ~1,500 people had downloaded a Windows installer from FoAN for a release of NetBeans that does not yet exist (and while unlikely given the current state of the vote, may not ever exist) These are not flames, they are a recognition that what we provide and link to must be done responsibly. FoAN was set up to support this project and its PMC. If you want to do something else, change your name to remove our trademark and get on with it. Otherwise, agree on the Memorandum of Understanding with the PMC, and get on with securing and providing the support you were ostensibly set up to provide.
