btw you might see warnings in the form of: [INFO] Artifact org.apache.maven.shared:maven-common-artifact-filters:jar:3.4.0 is present in the local repository, but cached from a remote repository ... when switching from maven 3.10.x (or 4.x rc) to maven 3.9.x. This is because maven resolver 2.x uses slightly different metadata. To resolve this simply clean .m2/repository before switching back to 3.9.x.
