Thanks Geertjan. Good to hear all parts will be moved to Apache. However, even with existing Netbeans 8.2, the XML tools module is not completely included. For example, the XSD schema designer (again great work) is not part of the default installation; I had to install a bunch of extra .nbm files to make it show up.
I hope all features under the XML Tools umbrella would be kept and moved to Apache.
