Hi If I open the "about" dialog I saw this exception:
[exec] INFO [org.openide.util.ImageUtilities]: Image org/netbeans/core/startup/about_nb.png is not PNG [exec] javax.imageio.IIOException: Bad PNG signature! The mentioned file is in deed a GIF. As far as I can remember all files in Oracle NetBeans were PNG even if the file extension was GIF. As Jaroslav mentioned in an earlier thread (last year I think) the filenames are part of the API so we can't change them, but I think we should either respect the file extension or make them all PNG.
