Thanks, great questions. Apache NetBeans (incubating) 9.0 is narrowly focused on Java SE only.
It would be appreciated if you'd try out the VC3 release as much as possible and vote on it, because that's all that we care about right now. You can register the 8.2 plugin portal if you like, but any problems encountered with any plugins installed are irrelevant for the vote on the Apache NetBeans (incubating) 9.0 release. http://updates.netbeans.org/netbeans/updates/8.2/uc/final/certified/catalog.xml.gz Please read this thread in detail, to see what we are doing, i.e., we are trying to put the final release together, which is focused on Java tooling only: https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/a644bb8e3ba2cbd06328bb004f1b18b4171763cd3d78a9131615f687@%3Cdev.netbeans.apache.org%3E Hope it helps, Gj On Mon, Jul 9, 2018 at 2:37 PM, Mike Billman <[email protected]> wrote: > I downloaded VC3 as was recommended and am a little confused (I am new to > this part of apache with respect to VC).
