Hi, now that the 9.0 version has been released finally, I guess there are a lot of people who will want to upgrade their existing NetBeans platform applictions. Some applications may be commercial or semicommercial software. Also, if you're starting a new project that requires a rich client of whatever kind, I can think of many use cases where there is really good reason to choose the NetBeans platform.
To this end, people may be needed with really good NetBeans platform experience. I'm thinking of freelancers in the first place, but not necessarily. So, the idea is to create a pool a java developers with really good experience of the NetBeans platform ready to accept commissions of various kinds. Who agrees there really is demand? Could such a pool be created within the Apache NetBeans infrastructure? I remember Geertjan suggesting something similar earlier, however, I don't remember the details.
