I haven't been actively involved in other projects doing release candidates so I cannot tell, and I think removing a "vote candidate" suffix is fine. Apache has about 300 projects so I suppose there's some variance. I'm only actively coding in Sling currently, which does *lots* of releases of small modules, so we don't do release candidates - if a release is rejected we just increase the version number as those are cheap. IMO people should always vote on file hashes/digests anyway, I always include them in my votes - they are really what counts, though confusing filename changes would be bad. But this case is not confusing at all. -Bertrand --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected] For further information about the NetBeans mailing lists, visit: https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/NETBEANS/Mailing+lists
